Frank Fugiel is a skilled veteran health plan warrior, with experience in life and health insurance underwriting, product development, sales, claims, medical management, and cost containment activates. Frank is the principal of a consulting firm, Underwriters Insurance Solutions LLC, Prior to working with HealthValues, Fugiel oversaw the Operations and Business Development at FCE Benefits Administrators, and served 18 years as Senior Vice President of Risk Strategy at IHC Health Solutions. As part of his insurance endeavors, he co-founded the Midwest Anti-Fraud Association which had major health plan membership throughout the Midwest including state and federal plans. Frank has acquired an impressive array of insurance educational titles including Certified Life Underwriter (CLU) and Fallow, Academy of Life Underwriting among others.

Fact: After four years at a Christian Brother’s high school, Frank spent his senior weekends at local seminaries to determine if he had a call to priesthood. Instead, he entered the U.S. Marine Air Wing. He often credits the successors, a 45+ year marriage, the nurturing of two daughters and now 3 female grandchildren to the skill sets he learned in both places.
